It’s a 360° journey that puts the audience at the center of the story. For Theater of the Mind, intimate groups of just 16 people will be led through a mesmerizing 15,000 square foot installation of intriguing environments and artistic storytelling. You will be invited to participate in unique sensory experiments inspired by neuroscience, but will not be asked to perform. Due to the visceral, personal nature of immersive work, no two participants will have the same experience
No. Theater of the Mind is an immersive theatrical experience co-created by David Byrne with writer Mala Gaonkar. While David will not be a performer in this piece, you will get to know a new side of him as a creative artist beyond his music. Learn more about David, Mala and their inspiration.

TICKETING DETAILS
Performances will take place August 31 through December 18, 2022.
Theater of the Mind will make its world premiere at York Street Yards in 15,000 square feet of a former Army medical supply depot in Denver’s Clayton neighborhood.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, May 20, 2022.
Patrons with a 2021/2022 or 2022/2023 DCPA season subscription package will have first access to purchase Theater of the Mind tickets prior to the public on-sale. 2022/2023 season subscription packages are not yet on sale; these packages will be announced and will go on sale in the spring of 2022.
Tickets for the DCPA Subscriber pre-sale will go on sale on Friday, May 6, 2022. To become a 2021/2022 DCPA subscriber, click here.
Individuals who have signed up for the Theater of the Mind email list will receive pre-sale access to tickets on Friday, May 13, 2022.
